Everything you say to your phone or Google mini device, Google stores everything on their servers. Most of the time, when the microphone of your phone is on, your phone can hear you, but it’ll not record or save anything until you tell it to do so.
Ok Google, where can I navigate to delete the data you stored?
You can restrict Google from doing so and can delete your voice recordings by following these simple steps on your Android phone:
- Go to Google account on your phone or login to myaccount.google.com
- Navigate to Data & Personalization
- Headover to Voice & Audio Activity
- Tap on Manage Activity
- On scrolling down, you’ll find all the audio clips that Google has stored over the years.
- You can tap on any clips to Play or listen to any of them.
- To delete any clips, tap on the 3 dots on the right top corner of the clip.
- You can delete multiple clips or all of the data at once by scrolling up on top of the screen.
- Click at Options and you can select the time period for which you want the data to be deleted.
- Choose the time-frame and delete that data.
